So this is what the kids are into these days: a band named after chastity rings. The Canadian duo of Corin Roddick and Megan James, better known as Purity Ring, make music that draws its influence from hip hop and dream pop. Lush little melodies are backed up by half time kicks and stuttering high hats. There’s a little taste of label mates Crystal Castles, as well. Limited to 500 copies.
